Good Medicine Media

A communications partnership for retreat centers, clinics, and mission-driven psychedelic care.

Start a conversation

We work with a few organizations at a time.

You are doing some of the most serious work in this field, and you know it was never only about symptoms. People come to you carrying depression, trauma, a life that quietly stopped feeling like theirs. What they find, when the work is done well, is not just relief but a way back: to themselves, to the people around them, to a world they had come to feel separate from.

That kind of work is slow, and it tends to stay quiet, because the people doing it are busy doing it. Meanwhile the money is arriving fast, and the operators who get heard are increasingly the ones with the largest budget rather than the deepest practice. The story of what this medicine is, and who it is for, is being written right now, mostly by them.

You should be one of the voices people turn to.

Not for your own sake, but because the field becomes what its loudest voices say it is. We think the people doing this carefully should also be the people shaping how the world understands it. That is the whole of what we do.

We help the ones doing it well get heard before the loudest voices define the field.

What we are really offering

The names you would like on your own page.

Every serious operator wants a line of them on their homepage. Earning it is the hard part, and it almost never happens by accident. These are the rooms we know, the editors we can reach, and the places we work to put you.

Inside the field

  • Psychedelic Alpha
  • Tricycle Day
  • Lucid News
  • DoubleBlind
  • Chacruna
  • Conferences and panels

And well beyond it

  • National newspapers and magazines
  • Public radio and broadcast
  • Long-form podcasts
  • Trade and science press
  • Op-ed pages
  • Stages outside this world entirely

A few of the right conversations will do more for you than a hundred of the wrong ones.

What we do together

Five parts of one engagement, run by the two of us, start to finish.

Position

We start by getting who you are into words, before we get it anywhere else. A founder positioning kit with bio, talking points, and message discipline. A clear plan for LinkedIn, where much of this field's real conversation actually happens. And a sharp articulation of what makes you distinct, including how you hold access and who this work is truly for. Most operators are far more compelling than their own website suggests. We fix that first.

Place

Op-eds, podcasts, and stages, chosen for fit rather than for vanity. We place you inside the field, in the outlets your peers and funders actually read, and well beyond it, in the general-interest media where the wider public is paying attention. We handle the pitches, the relationships, the prep, and the follow-through, so that being heard feels less like a lottery and more like a plan.

Prepare

A placement is only as good as what you do with it. We prepare you for the room: media training and talking points, how to answer without hedging, how to hold your ground in a hard interview, how to say the one true thing in the moment it counts. By the time you are on the record, you will know exactly what you came to say.

Connect

Most of what moves in this field moves through relationships, and those are slow and awkward to build from the outside. We make warm introductions to the people worth knowing: journalists and podcast hosts, yes, but also collaborators, funders, and fellow operators. This is one of the highest-leverage parts of the work, and one of the hardest to manufacture on your own.

Convert

Attention only matters if it turns into something. A wave of new interest is wasted if it lands on a site that cannot hold it. We build the messaging, website, and email systems that turn interest into clients, donors, and durable revenue: a copy pass on the pages that count, welcome and nurture sequences, and conversion work grounded in a decade of doing exactly this. This is where being seen becomes being supported, and where good work becomes work that lasts.

How we work

Three months, then an honest conversation.

We begin with a focused first three months. Long enough to do real work and to see whether we are right for each other, with weekly working sessions and clear deliverables at every stage. At the end we take stock together: what is working, what you need more of, what you need less of, and whether it makes sense to keep going. From there we continue month to month, scaled to what the work actually needs.

We keep our list short on purpose. This is hands-on work, and you will always be working with the two of us directly, never handed to a junior team or a reporting dashboard. We do not take every organization that asks, and we will tell you plainly if we are not the right fit.

And the work has to be real.

Part of what we look for is a genuine commitment to access and reciprocity. This medicine carries a teaching about connection, about how little of us is actually separate, and there is a quiet contradiction in offering a medicine like that only to the people who can already afford it. We want to work with organizations widening that door: sliding scale and scholarship, honest relationships with the traditions and lands this work comes from, real care for the people who make it possible.

When you are doing that work, we make sure it is heard. We know how to tell that story, and we put it near the front rather than in the fine print. It shapes who we take on, and it shapes what we help the world see.

The work was never only about symptoms. It is about coming back: to yourself, to each other, to the world that made you.

We help the people who understand that become as known as they are good.

Who you would be working with

Emily Carr

Emily Carr

Press, thought leadership, and placement

Emily spent years as a business and technology journalist at Fairfax Media, one of the largest news organizations in the English-speaking world, with a degree in political economics from the University of Sydney behind it. She has since built and placed thought leadership for leaders across health, finance, and mission-driven work, landing them in national press and on the podcasts and stages that shape a field's conversation. She knows from the inside exactly how a story earns a serious editor's attention. She is a trained psychedelic facilitator.

Sara Yamtich

Sara Yamtich

Messaging, systems, and conversion

Sara has spent her career where clinical care, national policy, and communications meet. A clinical social worker by training, she has done national policy and communications work at the CDC and a congressional fellowship on Capitol Hill, then founded Conscious Conversion, an agency that spent a decade helping mission-driven leaders turn their message into a livelihood. She works on the machinery most of this field neglects: messaging, funnels, and the words on a page that decide whether an interested stranger becomes a client, a donor, or walks away. She is a trained psychedelic facilitator and holds a certificate from the VITAL program at Psychedelics Today.

We are not marketers looking in from the outside. We work in this field ourselves, as trained facilitators, so we understand the work you do and the care it asks of you.

It starts with a conversation.

No proposal, no obligation, no pitch deck. Just a call to see whether we understand what you are building, and whether we can help.

We read every inquiry ourselves.

Thank you.

We have your note, and we will be in touch shortly to find a time to talk.
